Having the self-confidence to be your own master in life is a rare thing. We are drawn to assimilation, to fitting in, to not questioning the status quote. But yet, inside, something calls to us, to tell us to strike out on our own, to explore who we are, and let others benefit from this noble quest. Yet, as self-confidence quotes will tell us, there is a fine line between self-confidence and arrogance or egotism. As Edgar Allan Poe once said, I have great faith in fools; self-confidence my friends call it.
