Sculpted by Willy Petersen, this fashionable piece shows a mother mouse helping her daughter get ready for a dance.This first sculpture starts with the Colonial period. Three others will evolve towards more modern times and be introduced throughout the year. Each will be painted in 6 different color combinations.

Annette Petersen crafted her first little critter over 30 years ago. Since then, her children have learned the ways of the mice and have created their own! Each piece is a casting of an original sculpted by either Annette, Willy, Donna or Jenny.
Annette's first mice were made of bread dough, which didn't last very long (nibbled by the real thing, of course!). Now, we have much more sophisticated methods of molding which add strength and durability to every piece.
