Harmony Kingdom, where English elegance and eccentricity are fashioned into modern-day keepsakes! Their collection is crafted with crushed marble, having the look and feel of antique ivory. Every piece is entirely handmade in the time-honored tradition of cottage industry manufacturing. Harmony Kingdom draws its inspiration from the beauty of England's Cotswold region, where all of the pieces are carved and where most are made. Over fifteen years ago, when Artistic director Martin Perry set his mind to creating a Westerner's vision of a netsuke, little did he realize that his vision would grow into a masterful array of timeless treasures.

Most Harmony Kingdom Box Figurines have at least 3 "secrets" carved into them! The number of secrets depends on what the artist chooses to express.

Harmony Kingdom's artists often conceal a small motif on the box figurines they carve as a sort of "signature." This identifies the piece as being their work and adds to the Secrets of the Kingdom. David Lawrence uses an acorn on most of his box figurines, and Peter Calvesbert uses a mouse. Many collectors enjoy searching for these small, hidden symbols of the artists.

NOTE: Because Harmony Kingdom is handmade, individual box figurines may exhibit slight variations. While the artisans do their best to ensure that Harmony Kingdom boxes look seamless, many pieces do look like two-piece figurines.
